Solent Capital works with insolvency practitioners to identify, acquire and pursue claims arising during corporate or individual insolvencies.

Our role begins once the liquidator or trustee has completed their investigations and identified potential causes of action.

Where potential claims exist, we review the case and assess its legal and commercial viability.

This includes consideration of:

The strength of the legal claim

The available evidence

The potential recovery value

The likely cost and complexity of litigation

Only cases with genuine merit and commercial viability are taken forward. In appropriate cases, an upfront payment may be offered.

Where a claim meets our criteria, Solent Capital may acquire the rights of action from the insolvency practitioner.

This assignment allows us to pursue the claim directly.

Once assigned, Solent Capital assumes responsibility for funding and managing the litigation process.

Following assignment, Solent Capital manages the recovery process.

This may involve negotiation, settlement discussions or formal legal proceedings depending on the circumstances of the case.
